My story started with the journey to Barbados Vacational Training Board. There i was turned down lucky for me I had applied both there and at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Poly Technic renamed the ( Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology) where I was turned down before i then got the call i was waiting for. I got the chance and a grasp it with both hands, After two years of ups and downs. I got my diploma the journey was now beginning I then completed a course in supervisory management after that i work at the Barbados light and power which was a dream job for me I later realize that i wanted something more i decided to leave my job and enter the world as a small business owner using social media to expose my company. My kind demeanor and all the experience i had my company started to grow rapidly and now here today we are the best in Barbados and 7th in the world .
In the electrical field it is important that you know the basics. There are things that you wont understand and there things you will. I would advice you to research the things you don,t know there are some things that only come with experience and the guidance of others when learning or doing any task take your time. And ask if you do not understand make sure orders or clear. If you cant complete a task or its not your strength. Simply state that you cant but you are willing to learn or get better at it its even better once you are determined or have a love for electrical installation always remember practice makes perfect and nothing beats a try. |
